Parkesburg Find It Friday

Today’s FIF subject is a bit off the beaten path but only by a block or two.  An occasional walk around town, in this case Parkesburg’s north side, will eventually lead you by this sign.  If Jack Mariano, who submitted this FIF idea, can find the sign, so can you!

Think you know where the sign is?  Submit a guess in the comment field below by midnight Saturday.

A correct guess gets you entered into a drawing for a free pizza in the form of a $10 gift certificate to Rocco & Anna’s on Main Street, Find It Friday’s sponsor.

I’ll post the winner Sunday morning.

Guess away. Submit as many guesses as you want and check back through the next day or two for a clue.

(Hat tip to Chris and Lisa Smith!)

Does it have to deal with the Octoraro Creek Watershed Action Plan- building in Parkesburg Knoll, Crystal Springs? If it is the North Side, then it has to be a sign at Crystal Springs.

This sign is on the alley behind Toby Connell’s house by the old school playground.

Hi Ken, that sign is located near the School House Apts on the area that was the playground when I went to school there. At time when kids got outside several times a day to run and play on the merry-go-round, monkey bars and slides. Dodge ball was played on the paved basketball courts. If you fell, you got up, brushed yourself off and went on playing. Missing the good ole’ days
