The faces of Parkesburg!!!!
This is terrific! Thanks for all your help and support Ken.
What a nice celebration. Dave and I really enjoyed it, plus we saw several people we had not been in touch with for a while. So nice to see Parkesburg people coming together and bringing such wonderful history with them. I am a transplant and I’ve lived here over 50 years, so I feel like this is my home also.
I had a wonderful time yesterday at the 140th Celebration of Parkesburg!
What a wonderful celebration!!! I’m so proud of the town where I grew up. It was great to see alot of familiar faces that inspired and influenced me in my life. Thank you to all that came together to organize such a truly enjoyable event.
I couldn’t have imagined the 140th Party going any better. Everyone walked away feeling like it was time well spent gathering with old friends and new to celebrate a great little town and it’s past. Special thanks to Gerry Treadway and the historical committee for all the hard work it took to see the day a great success.
Towards the end of the day, after a short summer shower, we were all blessed to see a vivid rainbow across the meadow to the east. It felt like God was pleased too!
We found a scarf and sunglasses if anyone gets a question about them just let me know.
It was an absolute pleasure to play for the people pf Parkesburg. If you like what you heard, please give us a like on Facebook. Simply search for Big Valley Bluegrass.
