Parkesburg FC Awarded $473,000 New Equipment Grant

This bit of good news from Parkesburg Fire Company’s home page:

Today it was officially announced that Parkesburg Fire Company has received our FEMA AFG Grant.  This grant program was developed to help fire company’s like Parkesburg cope with the rising cost of apparatus and many other aspects of safety in the fire service.

The grant amount applied for was $498,000 and the amount received was $473,100. This is a huge step in helping out with the purchase of our new Aerial Apparatus.

We would like to thank FEMA and all others that made this grant possible.

Stay tuned for the next chapter in the 28 Truck Company.

Great news for the Parkesburg Fire Co. I was worried about them and money for the new truck they need, but God had them all along!
