Highlights of this month’s Focus newsletter include:
- Senior Jan D’Angelo won the American Society for Quality Total Quality Management Award for the Southern Jersey Section.
- Junior High student Melina Yelovich and Senior High student Elizabeth Lapp performed in the Chester County Ballet’s performance of the Nutcracker Ballet in December.
- An overview of the work of the High School Ceramics club
- High School sophomore John Sheridan won the Outstanding Delegate award in the Disarmament and
International Security Committee when the Model United Nations club traveled to Yale university to compete in the simulated international diplomacy conference. - All-star quarterback Dan Soloman will attend Princeton in the Fall. Fellow senior Ben Mackenzie has been accepted to Columbia University. Jaclyn Johnston will be playing collegiate field hockey for the Kutztown Golden Bears this coming Fall.
- Jose Avila and Geneva Blaha represented the Senior High School at the District Chorus Festival.
- A group of 7th grade students in Mrs. Wallace’s class are working on a campaign to raise awareness about the use of sustainable palm oil.
